Sailing Achievements

My proudest achievement in Sailing was when I was selected in the Indian National Squad. Listed below are some key Championships and Regatta that I participated in.

International Level Sailing Championships

Indian National Squad (2019)

• Secured position on the National Squad comprising of the top 10 female sailors in India for the Optimist class dinghy.
• Squad was chosen by the Yachting Association of India [YAI]. YAI is affiliated to the International Sailing Federation (ISAF) and officially recognised by the Indian Olympic Association as the governing authority for sailing.

Optimist Asian and Oceanic Championship (2019)

• Part of the Reserve Team representing India at the Optimist Asian and Oceanic Championship in Oman.

India International Regatta (2015)

• Secured first place (girls) in the Optimist Green fleet at the India International Regatta conducted by the Asian Sailing Federation (ASAF).
• ASAF is officially recognised by the International Sailing Federation and the Olympic Council of Asia as the governing authority for sailing in Asia.

National Level Sailing Championships

Junior Coastal Multiclass Regatta (2019)

• Finished 8th (girls) at the Junior Coastal Multiclass Regatta 2019 in Marve, India.

National Rank 13th and 15th (Girls) (2018)

• Had a national rank of 13 amongst girls for the Optimist class of boat in June 2018, and a national rank of 15 amongst girls in December 2018.

National Rank 14th (Girls) (2017)

• Had a national rank of 14 amongst girls for the Optimist class of boat in 2017.

Inland Optimist Open Championship (2015)

• Finished 25th overall (girls and boys) at the Inland Optimist Open Championship in 2015.
